This kit is great and comes with many accessories and bits. It is a really nice way to learn to work around "box cameras" where you build your camera-rig around your needs and work in a more cinematic manner, fully manual setup.
However it won't be a good fit for many situations where you need an easy point-and-shoot device or a run and gun setup.
